The ladies who participated in the Upcycling Fabric Project gathered around Mrs Mavis Tyrwhitt, Freeman of the Borough of Watford on 16th December at the MCCC to celebrate the successful completion of the project. The participants had a great time and were very grateful for the opportunity that was given to them to come together and learn how to upcycle fabric into new useful items. They enjoyed each other's company and made new friends. The Centre would like to thank the Watford Borough Council for their Small Grant which made it possible for this project to take place.
